Altitude is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for an independent medical research institute dedicated to heart disease and diabetes research.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in documenting, analysing, and mapping current business processes within a clinical environment. You will work closely with clinical and administrative teams and subject matter experts to understand existing workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape the transition to a new system.

Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clinical and administrative stakeholders to understand current workflowsDocument “as is” business processes using standard methodologiesCapture detailed process steps across patient intake, scheduling, consultations, billing, and records managementConduct workshops, interviews, and observations within clinic settings to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risksProduce process maps, workflow diagrams, and business narratives, and maintain a central repository of process documentation
Key Requirements:
Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or in a similar role, preferably within healthcare, clinical, hospital, or allied health environmentsExperience documenting end to end business processes, workflows, and operational procedures across multiple stakeholder groupsProven ability to conduct process discovery activities, including workshops, interviews, observations, and requirements gathering sessionsExperience producing process maps, workflow diagrams, business process documentation, and gap analyses using recognised methodologies and toolsExposure to clinical administration functions such as patient scheduling, billing, patient records, referrals, and practice operations is highly desirable
