Forklift operator

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team at On Track Stockfeed. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks around the store, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role requires physical stamina, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate machinery, including forklifts.

What you'll be doing:

• Assist with unloading, sorting, and organising stock feed products.

• Operate forklifts to transport goods and materials around the store.

• Ensure stock is stored properly and inventory levels are maintained.

• Prepare and pack orders for delivery according to customer specifications.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store.

• Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.

• Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth workflow.

What we're looking for:

• Customer service experience needed. 

• Forklift License and experience operating a forklift are needed

• Previous experience in a Stock feed, or similar environment preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Basic understanding of safety protocols and warehouse operations.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

• The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and/or experience within equine. 

• A valid Australian driver’s licence (preferred)
