About the opportunity

As People Business Partner, you will play a central role in this evolution. Partnering with Executive and senior leaders across both our Support Centre and Distribution Centre, you will support key functions, and be instrumental in delivering the people strategy, building organisational capability, and enabling high-performing teams.

Highly autonomous and commercially focused, this is an opportunity to influence at scale, shape leadership effectiveness and contribute to meaningful business optimisation. You will be supported by a strong People team and leadership network, with pathway opportunities to grow your career.

This role also sits at the forefront of how we think about the future of work. You will help drive curiosity and capability in emerging technologies, including AI, supporting leaders and teams to adopt new ways of working that enhance decision making, productivity and outcomes. You will champion a continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to optimise how we operate and how our people perform.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Partner with senior leaders across our Support Centre and Distribution Centre to deliver and embed the people strategy
• Lead key conversations on talent, succession, capability and engagement
• Drive and contribute to strategic People and business-wide initiatives
• Lead organisational optimisation initiatives and improvements in ways of working
• Embed a continuous improvement mindset to enhance team effectiveness and performance
• Support the adoption of AI and digital tools, building awareness, capability and practical application across teams
• Balance commercial outcomes with people priorities to create high-performing, engaging environments
• Coach and support leaders to build capability and confidence in leading their teams

What you bring

• Deep, end-to-end expertise across P&C strategic partnering, spanning talent, succession, culture, employee relations, leadership and organisational effectiveness, with a strong track record of translating strategy into business outcomes
• Proven experience partnering across corporate environments
• A commercial, customer-focused mindset with experience supporting evolving ways of working and business optimisation
• Curiosity and openness to AI and technology, with an interest in how it can enhance people outcomes and business performance (whilst we build our own playbook)
• Strong ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
• Experience working closely with P&C Centres of Excellence to deliver integrated people solutions
• Strong coaching capability to uplift leadership effectiveness and build great team dynamics
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant qualifications are beneficial, but not essential
