About Us
Apunipima Cape York Health Council is a community controlled Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health service. Servicing the communities of Cape York, with the main office is located in Cairns, Apunipima delivers public health care, and social and emotional well-being care, to community members. Being a part of the team at Apunipima means helping us deliver essential services as well as building capacity in communities to manage their own health care needs.
Under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.
About the Opportunity
This position will deliver direct and comprehensive primary health care services, consistent with the Apunipima Way and Model of Care. This position acts as a role model in the provision of holistic care and provides general clinical advice, as part of
a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes for the people of Cape York.
We are looking for Health Practitioners at various locations. The positions are FIFO from Cairns.

1 position in Kowanyama
1 position Mossman Gorge
