Position Profile and Role
We are currently seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team.
The role of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager is to support the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and act in their role as required. The ANUM works with the NUM to provide effective leadership and efficient management of the designated area of specialty in line with the Fiona Stanley Hospital strategic direction. This position will provide clinical leadership to patients and nursing staff within the area of specialty. The position is responsible for the delivery of clinical nursing services at an advanced level, promoting, establishing and implementing evidenced based therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the Multi-Disciplinary Team. The ANUM coordinates the continuum of care across the patient’s journey.
This recruitment process offers a Permanent/Fixed Term Full Time appointment, with Fixed Term contract has the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is an 863-bed tertiary and quaternary hospital providing a broad range of specialised healthcare services. These include the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, dedicated mental health facilities, maternity, paediatric and neonatal care, as well as the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers highly specialised treatments such as heart and lung transplantation and hyperbaric medicine.
Adjacent to the hospital, the FSH Medihotel operates within the Aegis Health Building and provides an innovative extension of FSH healthcare services, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
