Your opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Primary STEM Teacher to join our vibrant learning community from the beginning of the 2027 academic year.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced educator who loves sparking curiosity, encouraging problem-solving, and bringing STEM to life for young learners.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Junior School to design and deliver effective and collaborative STEM programs to enhance learning outcomes for our students.
You will be required to:
Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate STEM lessons for our Junior School students
Foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration through hands on learning
Integrate digital technologies, coding, robotics, and inquiry-based learning
Support classroom teachers with STEM integration across the curriculum
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
You will have:
Queensland College of Teachers registration
Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a Primary school setting
Highly developed classroom teaching skills
Demonstrated ability to support colleagues to implement and integrate information and communication technology into teaching and learning
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Commitment to student wellbeing and continuous professional growth
Skills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employees
An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
