We're looking for an experienced Trade Qualified Printer / Press Operator to join our high-performing production team, operating state-of-the-art 6 and 8 colour Heidelberg XL presses with Cutstar reel-fed units.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity where you'll produce premium packaging for some of the world's most recognised brands using industry-leading technology.

One of the biggest perks? You'll work a compressed 3-day week (36 hours), giving you four days off every week to enjoy everything Melbourne has to offer.

Your roster:

• Initial onboarding and training on day shift
• Permanent night shift: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
• Four consecutive days off every week

Your Duties 

• Operate and monitor advanced printing and finishing equipment to produce premium-quality products.
• Set up, adjust and optimise print jobs to meet production and quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate production records.
• Work safely while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and support Assistant Printers where required.

About You

• Trade-qualified printer (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience operating multi-colour Heidelberg presses (Cutstar experience highly regarded).
• Strong understanding of colour management and print quality standards.
• Ability to read and use colour measurement devices.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
• Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible and safety-focused mindset.
