We're looking for an experienced accountant to join our growing team. Someone strong technically who can work through a file and get it out the door, and who sees the bigger picture for the client behind it.
 

What You’ll Do

• Tax and compliance: Prepare tax returns, BAS, GST reconciliations and financial statements for SME entities and groups.

• Technical tax: Capital gains, franking accounts, income tax provisions and year-end balance sheet reconciliations.

• Accounting and reconciliations: Xero payroll reconciliations, fixed asset registers, journals and supporting calculations.

• Client contact: Clear, direct communication with clients and the internal team.

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years in business services accounting.

• Able to prepare financial statements and tax returns for entity groups without supervision.

• CA or CPA qualified, or studying towards it.

• Strong Xero and Xero Tax skills. MYOB or QuickBooks a bonus.

• Solid technical grounding in SME tax compliance and financial reporting.

• Clear written and verbal communication.

• Attention to detail and the ability to work through a job list independently.

• Salary: $85,000 to $105,000 plus super, based on experience. We pay for capability.
