Full Time RACV Patrol/Tow Truck Driver/Workshop Assistant

Motacare is a Road Service provider in the Ballarat region. Motacare is seeking a highly motivated person as a casual patrol/medium rigid tow truck driver/workshop assistant for our Ballarat area with a possibility of full time.

The Position.

No previous road service experience is required as we provide full training. This position requires someone who above all else is good with people. Has good mechanical knowledge and is willing to learn. So if you like getting out and about and helping people in need then this is the job for you. 

Most of the towing that we do is RACV members that have broken down in the local area. Motacare tow them to their workshop, to our workshop, or to their home. There will also be members that want to get towed usually within 150 km to their home or workshop.

MR truck license required for this position. 

Hours.

This position will work in with our 4 days on/4 days off rotating roster and requires the flexibility of both weekdays, after hours and weekend callouts. The position may also require travel to other depots to assist with jobs.

Skills Required.

A Medium Rigid truck license is required. We do not mind if you have never driven a tow truck as we will train you. No special licenses are required as we do not do smash towing. 

Mechanical skills will be highly regarded.

Motacare is the RACV Auto Accredited Workshop in Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton and Torquay. The position is based in Ballarat.
