Belinda Allen Care provides private, personalised 1:1 nursing support to a woman living with a rare form of muscular dystrophy and high physical disability.

We are seeking a Mature female Enrolled Nurses to join a small, dedicated care team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced nurse who wants a role that is both professionally rewarding and genuinely life-changing.

Due to the client’s history of PTSD and trauma, a consistent female care team is required to provide a safe, respectful and supportive environment.

About the Role

You will provide personalised nursing and disability support while working closely with the client, Disability Support Workers, allied health professionals and medical specialists.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Wound care and pressure care management

• Incontinence and continence management

• Showering and personal care

• IM injections

• Cooking and cleaning

• Supporting slow, individualised rehabilitation

• Providing clinical guidance and personal-care training to Disability Support Workers

• Working collaboratively with allied health professionals

• Liaising with specialist nursing and medical teams

• Supporting the client to maintain dignity, independence and quality of life

Shifts Available

Day Shifts

• Monday, Friday: 7:00am – 11am

• 2nd Saturday 7:00am – 11am

Sleepover Shifts

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday nights

• 6:30pm – 10:30pm

• Sleepover

• 6:30am – 8:30am

Working as Part of a Collaborative Team

You will work alongside:

• Dedicated Enrolled Nurses providing personalised 1:1 care

• Disability Support Workers

• Allied Health Professionals

• Clinical Nurse Specialist

• Chronic Disease Management GP

• Other medical and clinical professionals involved in the client’s care

About You

We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse who is compassionate, reliable, patient and confident working with complex physical disability.

Experience or confidence in the following areas is highly desirable:

• Disability nursing

• Wound care

• Pressure injury prevention and management

• Continence and incontinence management

• IM injections

• Personal care, Cleaning and cooking

• Rehabilitation

• Working with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma or PTSD

• Providing clinical training and support to disability workers

Most importantly, you will understand that excellent care is about more than completing clinical tasks. It is about building trust, respecting individual choice and helping someone participate in everyday life with dignity and confidence.
