Order Support Admin

About the role

The Order Support role is designed to manage the customer order processes for select Promo Gear clients to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of regularly placed orders. This role often overlaps with sales, design, production and warehouse departments focusing specifically on the administrative and operational side of the orders cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Data entry and processing orders from costing to delivery
• Ordering and tracking stock
• Verifying and maintaining inventory stock levels
• Monthly stock on hand and order reporting
• Resolving discrepancies such as out of stocks and picking errors
• Liaising between sales, design, production and warehouse coordinators – providing relevant information and updates as required
• Order packing and stocktake checks

About you

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Attention to detail with accurate data entry including note making
• Organisational and time management skills
• Ability to accurately follow direction and processes consistently
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new programs and procedures
• Basic computer skills such as MS Office plus ability to use database style programs
• Strong focus on data entry accuracy and efficiency when processing orders and approval documentation
• Ability to seek and research key data required for cross referencing vital details
• Creative thinker/problem solver for handling discrepancies and urgent order processing
• History of customer service focus and relationship building
