About the role:
The Governance and Management Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in IT Services meeting its statutory and regulatory obligations and facilitating the efficient administration of the portfolio.
The role navigates and administers the branch’s service management targets, compliance, assurance and associated risk management frameworks, precipitating the development, review, renewal and submission of plans, strategies, reports and publications on time and to standard.
The role also provides information and administrative support to internal and external audit and compliance working parties, boards and committees; as well as facilitates administrative priorities for the IT Services Branch, providing support for committees, meetings, working parties and events.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney’s Botanic Gardens.

About you
In this role you would require demonstrated experience working in information technology governance and risk management environment, together with sound understanding of key enterprise governance practices and relationship to risk management. In this role you need to have experience and skill to facilitate administration priorities for key meetings, working parties and committees and experience and skill in data management and analysis; and the development of governance and assurance improvement strategies and evidentiary reports and recommendations. A proficiency in scheduling tools, document management systems, and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow); and Microsoft applications such as (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
