About the role
Bring your genomics and molecular expertise to a high-profile statewide public health laboratory! As the Advanced Scientist – Laboratory Operations Manager, Public Health Virology, you’ll play a key role in keeping a busy statewide reference laboratory running smoothly while supporting high-quality, responsive virology and molecular testing services. We’re looking for an experienced scientist with strong genomics and molecular biology experience who is ready to combine technical expertise with operational leadership. If you’re a molecular and genomics scientist ready to step up, lead from the laboratory and help shape the future of public health virology — we want to hear from you!
This is more than a laboratory operations role. You'll have the opportunity to influence statewide public health services, work alongside highly skilled scientific teams and contribute to innovative molecular and genomic testing.
Reporting to the Chief Scientist, Public Health Virology, you'll bring your expertise, energy and passion to a role where your science genuinely makes a difference.
