Despatch Clerk

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Despatch Clerk to join our warehouse team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the despatch office, coordinating distribution activities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Distribution Coordination

• Manage daily distribution and delivery schedules
• Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and administrative tasks
• File and distribute paperwork
• Liaise with carriers and coordinate courier services
• Provide consistent, high‑level customer service

Inventory & Consumables Management

• Verify transport/freight invoices and delivery dockets
• Complete freight documentation and assist drivers
• Follow cancellation procedures and liaise with the National Customer Service Centre
• Monitor and maintain stationery and consumables
• Coordinate proof‑of‑delivery processes

After‑Service Care

• Coordinate and deliver OE fitment stock (tyres/rims)
• Assist with monthly stocktakes
• Maintain accurate despatch records

Reverse Logistics

• Coordinate customer returns per Goods Return Policy
• Process new tyre returns for customer credit
• Manage warranty tyre returns for Technical Field Services inspection

About You

• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Confident liaising with carriers, drivers, and internal teams
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Experience in warehousing or logistics (preferred but not essential)
