Join SMS Laser Cutting, a well-established leader in advanced sheet metal fabrication, and become a key part of our growing team of 65 employees. Working in our Oakleigh South factory, you’ll operate cutting-edge CNC technology on a variety of great projects.

• Reading and following fabrication drawings and job sheets and working with minimal supervision.

• Operating and setting the Amada CNC Press Brake Machine.

• Selecting the correct tooling (folding punch and die) based on sheet thickness and material type.

• Understanding the folding methods and sequences according to part drawings

• Performing basic Brake Press offline programming (training will be provided to enhance your skills).

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• A positive attitude and commitment to quality and team culture.

• Outstanding wage package, well above typical sheet metal worker wages, to recognise your skill and motivate you.
