About the role
Confident Celebration Pty Ltd is an Australian healthcare products supplier and the Australian importer and market development partner for Yuwell medical products.
Yuwell is an established international healthcare brand offering a broad portfolio of home healthcare and medical equipment, including respiratory care, oxygen therapy, blood pressure monitoring, suction equipment, rehabilitation, mobility and other healthcare products.
About the RoleThis is a senior, commercially focused position responsible for developing the Australian market for Yuwell home healthcare and medical products.
The initial priority will be pharmacy channel development, including major pharmacy groups, banner groups, wholesalers and independent pharmacies. The role will also progressively develop opportunities across medical clinics, aged care providers, rehabilitation organisations, healthcare distributors and other relevant healthcare channels.
This is a part-time position working three days per week. Subject to agreed performance milestones, satisfactory overall performance, ongoing business requirements and mutual agreement, the role is intended to transition to full-time employment with a reviewed remuneration package.
You will work closely with our Australian management, operations, marketing and customer service teams, as well as Yuwell’s China-based management, product and commercial teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the Australian channel strategy for Yuwell home healthcare and medical products.
Identify and develop opportunities with major pharmacy groups, banner groups, pharmacy wholesalers and independent pharmacy networks.
Establish relationships with pharmacy buyers, category managers, merchandise teams, pharmacy owners and other relevant decision-makers.
Lead supplier applications, product presentations, ranging proposals, product reviews, trial arrangements and listing negotiations.
Develop account-specific proposals covering product selection, pricing, channel margins, promotions, training and launch plans.
Identify and develop opportunities with medical clinics, aged care providers, rehabilitation organisations, allied health providers and other healthcare institutions.
Identify and develop relationships with healthcare distributors, medical wholesalers, pharmacy wholesalers and specialist equipment suppliers.
Arrange and conduct customer meetings, product presentations, demonstrations and commercial negotiations.
Coordinate product trials, channel onboarding, product training and commercial launches.
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of channel-development opportunities.
Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and follow-up records in the company’s CRM system.
Coordinate relevant product, regulatory and market-access documentation with internal teams and regulatory partners.
Provide market feedback on customer requirements, channel opportunities, pricing and competitors.
Prepare regular activity, pipeline and channel-development reports.
Attend customer meetings, pharmacy conferences, healthcare exhibitions and industry events when required.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
At least five years of relevant Australian experience in pharmacy channels, medical devices, healthcare distribution, aged care, rehabilitation, healthcare retail or a closely related sector.
Demonstrated experience in B2B channel development, business development, key account management or commercial sales.
A proven record of introducing, listing or commercially developing medical devices or healthcare products through at least one relevant Australian channel.
Strong experience and demonstrated results in at least one core channel, such as pharmacy, medical institutions, aged care, rehabilitation or healthcare distribution.
Experience progressing products through supplier applications, product evaluations, trials, ranging, listing or distributor onboarding processes.
Established professional relationships with relevant buyers, category managers, wholesalers, distributors, procurement teams or other industry decision-makers would be highly regarded.
Experience with home healthcare or medical devices, including respiratory care, oxygen therapy, blood pressure monitoring, diabetes care, suction equipment, rehabilitation or mobility products, would be highly regarded.
A practical understanding of the Australian medical device market, including TGA and ARTG requirements and the role of an Australian Sponsor.
Strong commercial negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
The confidence and discipline to approach new customers and develop opportunities from initial contact.
The ability to work independently, manage priorities and consistently follow up long sales cycles.
Strong organisational, reporting and CRM management skills.
Professional written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese, as the role requires regular communication with Australian customers and Yuwell’s China-based teams.
A current Australian driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Valid Australian working rights and the ability to travel when required.
Candidates are not expected to have established relationships across every listed channel. Strong and verifiable experience in at least one core channel, combined with the ability to develop additional channels, will be considered.
