Cocktail Barstaff for Brand New Cocktail Bar

Be a part of the inception of Townsville's latest Cocktail Bar, the Hairy Coconut, located in the Townsville City.

We are looking for the very best bartenders with an interest and flair for cocktails and cocktail making and barbacks.

The successful bartender applicants will have:

• Experience in cocktail making and mixology;

• A positive, engaging, funny and enthusiastic demeanor;

• A desire to enhance the customer experience beyond the norm;

• The ability to work autonomously and proactively;

• A desire to create unique cocktails that not only taste amazing, but create flair and customer interest;

• Have their RSA with a view to working towards an RMLV.

The successful barback applicants will have:

• A positive, engaging, funny and enthusiastic demeanor;

• A desire to enhance the customer experience beyond the norm;

• The ability to work autonomously and proactively;

• Have their RSA.

We want to work with each of our bar staff to create the best possible work environment right from the start. We are flexible on employment category (casual, part-time etc) to create a roster which is collaborative and works for everyone. The successful applicants will be helping develop the bar including the drinks and food menu, specials etc. It is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in this space, to really make their mark.

Initially, the opening hours will be Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 12am, but as the bar gets more established, we will be expanding opening hours throughout the week where viable.
