About the Opportunity

A unique permanent opportunity has become available to lead the team as Boutique Manager at the stunning new Clé de Peau Beauté Boutique.

As Boutique Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the team, driving boutique sales and service performance, and ensuring every client receives an exceptional luxury experience.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will combine strong people management and commercial capability with a passion for luxury beauty. You will lead by example on the boutique floor, personally engaging with clients, delivering exceptional service and supporting the team to achieve both individual and boutique objectives.

Working within a beautifully designed boutique environment, you will help bring Clé de Peau Beauté's renowned Japanese philosophy of omotenashi to life—anticipating every client's needs and creating personalised, memorable experiences at every interaction.

About You

Reporting to the State Manager (Beauty), you will be dedicated to delivering exceptional “omotenashi” experiences and fostering memorable interactions with your clients.

As a Boutique Manager, you will use your business acumen to drive retail activities that enhance the brand’s image and market leadership. This role is responsible for coordinating the overall day to day operations of the boutique, collaborating with field teams and corporate brand teams to achieve our goals. Success in this position requires innovative thinking and a holistic approach to the client journey.

You must be a passionate individual who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Clé de Peau Beauté brand and its luxurious products.

• You are an experienced and inspiring retail leader with a genuine passion for luxury beauty, exceptional client experiences and developing people.
• You understand the expectations of luxury retail and take pride in creating an environment where both clients and team members feel valued, supported and inspired.
• You are commercially minded, highly organised and confident managing the day-to-day operations of a boutique while maintaining a strong focus on sales, customer relationships and brand standards.
• You lead by example and are comfortable balancing the responsibilities of people leadership, reporting, stock management, client engagement and hands-on selling and beauty services.
• Experience within luxury beauty, cosmetics, premium skincare, designer brands, luxury spas or department stores will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Clé de Peau Beauté boutique, ensuring exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness, merchandising and service are consistently maintained.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, recruit new clients, retain existing clients and strengthen the boutique's presence within the market.
• Lead, motivate, coach and develop the boutique team, providing ongoing guidance, feedback, training and support, undertaking performance management, onboarding and offboarding, and recruitment activities as required
• Monitor individual and boutique sales performance, productivity and key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth and ensuring team members are consistently adhering to Clé de Peau Beauté brand standards.
• Manage boutique inventory, including stock levels, stock counts, stocktakes and identifying discrepancies or ageing stock.
• Conduct regular team meetings and daily briefings to communicate brand, product, marketing and education updates, reinforce sales expectations and celebrate achievements.
• Be a hands on leader who personally delivers exceptional customer experiences and contributes to boutique sales and service objectives.
• Resolve customer enquiries, escalations and complaints professionally, maintaining accurate customer data and ensuring all customer information is handled in accordance with privacy requirements.
• Participate in boutique events, VIP experiences, product launches and brand initiatives.

To Be Successful in This Role You Will

• Have previous experience in a retail leadership or boutique management position with proven experience managing, coaching and developing a team.
• Have experience within luxury beauty, cosmetics, premium skincare, designer brands, luxury retail or luxury spa’s.
• Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, problem solving skills and a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Have exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong and lasting client relationships.
• Be confident working with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for luxury beauty, skincare and delivering elevated client experiences.
• Experience performing professional facial treatments or skincare services will be highly regarded as will qualifications (or equivalent) in facial treatment, beauty or makeup artistry.
• Additional language skills, particularly Mandarin, Cantonese or Vietnamese, will be highly regarded.
