Project Administrator - Western Australia

About the role

This is a Fly-in Fly-out postion based on site on a 2 weeks on 1 week off roster to Mardie Salt. In this position you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day implementation of the project, the project works, engaging with site leaders, the business and other key stakeholders to achieve the projects and business goals. This position performs a crucial role in coordinating all administrative aspects of the project. 

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a high level of attention to detail, and an ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. 

The Project Administration Department is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Raising purchase orders
• Processing invoices
• Daily activity sheets (including timesheets)
• Establishing, controlling and maintaining effective filing systems and records
• Efficiently preparing and managing a variety of correspondence
• Data entry 
• Stock and inventory control
• General administration duties for the project team.
• Other relevant duties as may be required from time to time; and

To be successful you will have:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in administration
• Experience in the construction industry (desirable)
• Advanced competency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent time management, workload prioritisation, organisation and planning skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Driver Licence 
• Construction Card (blue or white)
