Registered Architect (Residential Developments - NSW & QLD)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Architect to support the delivery of residential development projects across New South Wales and Queensland. The position offers flexible working arrangements and is predominantly work from home, with office attendance, client meetings and site visits required as project and business needs dictate. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be responsible for architectural design, BIM modelling, drafting, documentation and consultant coordination across all stages of residential developments, working closely with engineers, project managers and other project consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare architectural concept designs, design development and construction documentation.
• Prepare Development Applications (DA), Complying Development Certificate (CDC), Construction Certificate (CC) and other statutory approval documentation.
• Develop and manage Building Information Models (BIM) and produce high-quality architectural documentation using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and specifications.
• Coordinate architectural documentation with structural, civil, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and other project disciplines.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, certifiers, local councils and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate consultant information and manage architectural deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and respond to authority and consultant comments.
• Ensure designs comply with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and applicable planning legislation.
• Provide technical support during construction where required.
• Undertake other architectural duties as required to support successful project delivery.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current registration as an Architect in New South Wales (essential).
• Registration as an Architect in Queensland will be highly regarded.
• A recognised architectural qualification.
• Demonstrated experience delivering residential development projects.
• Demonstrated experience preparing concept designs, DA, CDC, CC and construction documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Building Information Modelling (BIM) using Autodesk Revit, including architectural modelling, drafting, detailing, documentation and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office will be highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and NSW and Queensland residential planning requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project deliverables and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
