Registered Nurse

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and engaged RN to join our dedicated and friendly team. Work collaboratively with a team of highly experienced GP's, RN's, reception staff and practice manager in a positive, friendly and fun working environment in a highly reputable family practice at Kippa Ring/Redcliffe, North Brisbane with easy access to public transport.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with patient triage and undertake preliminary diagnostic and first response care

• Clinical duties including assisting with procedures, immunizations, wound management, ECG's and collection of pathology samples

• Chronic disease management including the development of Care Plans, Health Assessments and Comprehensive Medical Assessments

• Preventative health activities including patient education and outreach

• Maintenance of clinical equipment

About you

• Excellent communication skills and an ability to provide quality patient care to patients from a range of backgrounds and age demographics

• Proven ability to be a positive, independent and collegial member of the team

• Experience working within a busy General Practice and/or Hospital setting and an interest in developing comprehensive knowledge of General Practice nursing

• Ability to manage and prioritize workloads

• Current AHPRA Registration
