Legal Talent Specialist

As our firm and People Team continue to grow, we're looking for an additional Talent Specialist to join us on a 12-month contract and play a key role in attracting exceptional legal talent across the business. 

This role has been created as a result of continued growth across the firm. With increasing demand from clients and expanding teams nationally, we're investing further in our talent capability to ensure we continue attracting the best lawyers in the market. 

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the search side of recruitment. Someone who gets energy from uncovering hard-to-find talent, building talent maps, developing sourcing strategies and engaging passive candidates who may not yet be considering a move. 

Whether your background is in legal recruitment, executive search, or in-house talent acquisition, you'll love the challenge of identifying, engaging and securing exceptional legal talent for a growing national law firm. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing end-to-end recruitment across legal and selected business services roles 

• Conducting direct search activities using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, referrals and market research 

• Building talent maps, pipelines and talent pools across key legal markets 

• Identifying, engaging and nurturing passive candidates 

• Developing proactive sourcing strategies for current and future hiring needs 

• Providing market intelligence on talent availability, hiring activity and remuneration trends 

• Delivering an exceptional candidate experience from first approach through to onboarding 

• Using recruitment data and insights to improve hiring outcomes and recruitment effectiveness 

You'll bring: 

• Experience recruiting lawyers within agency, search or in-house environments, preferably in private practice 

• Strong sourcing capability, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searching, talent mapping and direct search techniques 

• Demonstrated success engaging passive candidates and building talent pipelines 

• A genuine interest in research, talent intelligence and market mapping 

• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously 

• Experience using ATS, CRM and sourcing platforms 

• A proactive, curious and relationship-driven approach
