Type: Permanent Full Time
Classification: $104,373.21 - $109,867.69 base salary + super (depending on experience)
You'll play an important role in maintaining and improving the City's infrastructure asset information systems and data. Working across TechnologyOne Asset Management, GIS and associated infrastructure datasets, you'll ensure reliable asset information is available to support operational service delivery, strategic asset planning, lifecycle management and capital investment decisions.
This is an opportunity to combine your asset information, systems and analytical expertise with meaningful long-term infrastructure planning. Your work will support asset lifecycle management, renewal forecasting, capital investment planning and the continuous improvement of the City's asset management systems and information.
What You’ll Be Doing
Administer and maintain TechnologyOne Enterprise Asset Management and associated GIS systemsMaintain accurate and reliable infrastructure asset information and spatial datasetsCoordinate infrastructure asset handover and data governance processesUndertake asset renewal modelling and annual works forecastingMonitor asset data quality, completeness and complianceDevelop and maintain asset information, reporting and analytical solutionsPerform spatial analysis and prepare asset performance reportsSupport asset management planning, capital investment planning and lifecycle management activitiesProvide technical guidance, user training and system supportThese responsibilities reflect the position’s focus on systems administration, GIS database management, spatial analysis, asset handover, forecasting, data quality and technical support.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an analytical GIS professional who can transform complex asset information into reliable insights. You’ll ideally bring:
Qualifications in geospatial sciences or computer scienceAsset management and long-term modelling expertiseStrong engineering and spatial analysis capabilitiesProven preparation of accurate maps and recordsAdvanced technical problem-solving and analytical skillsSound project management skills and experienceTechnologyOne, GIS and Microsoft Office experienceExperience linking spatial and external database informationExperience in asset information management, infrastructure data governance and asset management systems.Experience using TechnologyOne Asset Management, GIS platforms and associated reporting tools.A National Police Clearance issued within the previous three months is an essential requirement. Previous local government experience and knowledge of the Local Government Act are desirable.
