RRC Australia is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturing business seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a trade-qualified electrician who enjoys hands-on maintenance work and has strong mechanical aptitude. While the role is primarily electrical, you'll also be involved in mechanical maintenance and equipment change-outs as required, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working across multiple disciplines.

• Monday to Thursday, 10:00am – 6:00pm

• Friday 06:00am - 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on production and packaging equipment

• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently to minimise production downtime

• Carry out electrical testing, inspections, and maintenance in accordance with site standards and regulations

• Assist with mechanical maintenance, component replacements, and equipment change-outs as required

• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability and performance

• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to maximise plant uptime and operational efficiency

About You

• Qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence

• Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or a similar industrial environment

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to undertake mechanical maintenance tasks

• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

• Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused approach

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
