About the role
Our client, a leading organisation dedicated to advancing energy efficiency and a net-zero future, is seeking a dedicated Certification and Training Officer to join their Workforce Development team on a part-time basis. This fixed-term role offers approximately 0.53 FTE (20 hours per week) with flexibility for remote work arrangements, based primarily in East Melbourne.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the administration and delivery of certification and training programs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing certification applications, registrations, examinations, and continuous professional development processes, maintaining comprehensive records, and fostering strong relationships with trainers, partners, and clients.
Key responsibilities
You will liaise with a range of stakeholders including candidates, assessors, trainers, and external vendors, while upholding the organisation’s commitment to excellence and program integrity.
About you
Ideal candidates will have:
Experience in the energy or climate sectors, or in non-profit or government organisations is advantageous but not mandatory. A collaborative and self-motivated approach, combined with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently, will support success in this role.
This opportunity offers an attractive hourly rate, flexible work options including a preference for Melbourne-based candidates but welcoming applications from other states, and occasional out-of-hours work or interstate travel.
Join our client’s dynamic and impactful team and contribute to meaningful projects that support a prosperous, net-zero energy future.
