Pharmacy Assistant

The role:

We are looking for weekend staff (Saturday and Sundays) to replace our forth year students. We are looking to replace one staff member starting September 12th but will have other positions available around October. Suitable for pharmacy students, or pharmacy assistant that wish to work weekends.

We are also looking for a casual pharmacy assistant to help cover staff holiday leave, and last minute sick leave.

Pay rate listed on ad doesn't include weekend penalty rates which would apply.

Qualifications & experience

• Previous retail and customer service experience 

• Previous experience working in pharmacy is preferred but not essential 

• Friendly, outgoing nature and positive attitude 

• A proven track record of growing sales and generating repeat business 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Greeting customers proactively and offering friendly, professional service and advice

• Taking in and handing out prescriptions 

• Stock maintenance - placing and receiving orders, stock replenishment

• Processing sales
