About the Role 

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager. We are looking for someone with a big personality that can have fun with, and entertain our guests. You will ideally also have a passion for hotels and hospitality and be driven for experience that will further your career within the company.

This role will be predominantly evening based overseeing Hotel Alba's food & beverage operations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in leading, supporting, and inspiring our dedicated FOH team
• Maintaining a calm, confident presence on the floor, ensuring seamless service and a warm guest journey
• Overseeing daily restaurant operations and assisting with rostering, staff development, and performance
• Optimising table flow and service rhythm to support both the guest experience and team efficiency
• Managing customer feedback with grace and professionalism
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure consistency and excellence in every service
• Supporting inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Upholding health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Contributing to the continued refinement and growth of our guest experience

Skills & Experience 

• Hands on approach to work alongside your team
• Strong Food and Beverage service skills
• Precise attention to detail with an intense desire to strive for excellence always
• A confident, proactive and thorough problem solver, with strong conflict resolution skills
• The natural ability to remain calm under pressure when responding to last minute changes
• Flawless presentation and grooming together with the ability to connect with VIP guests and visitors is a must.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
