About the role
20 Chapel is a 1 chef hat modern Australian 50 seat neighbourhood restaurant in Marrickville which is currently rated 59th in "Worlds 101 Best Steak Restaurants".
We are a small team focused on quality service and genuine hospitality.
The restaurant operation hours are dinner Tuesday to Saturday, and also lunch Friday and Saturday.
Key responsibilities
Support day to day front of house operations including reservations management to ensure smooth service and high customer satisfaction
Supervise and train staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies
Assist with inventory and ordering, monitoring stock levels of front of house supplies and beverages
Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally to maintain a positive dining experience
Assist with efficient staff rostering, payroll timekeeping and payroll processes via Connecteams and liaison with payroll officer
Assist with tracking sales, control costs, and identify areas for operational improvement
About you
Previous supervisory experience in a 1 chef hat or above restaurant
Hands on leadership style to inspire and get the best from their team
Excellent organisational, communication, and computer skills (e.g. excel, outlook, word, and point of sale systems)
Wine knowledge an advantage
Valid RSA Certificate
