Delivery Driver / Installer

We require a part-time/casual employee who will be based at our 1000+ square metre warehouse in Mulgrave, Monday – Friday. Looking for 4-5 days a week, with potential for more in the future.

Back to Sleep, is a specialised showroom in the heart of Balwyn, and is made up of an amazing, supportive, and passionate team focusing on providing sleep advice, sleep products (mattresses, adjustable beds), and other mobility aids (lift chairs, walkers, etc.) for both medical and non-medical needs, in the Retail and Government funded (NDIS & Support at Home) sectors. 

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our products to customers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Delivering and installing customer orders, including two-person jobs 

• General manual handling and heavy lifting (>30kg) 

• Providing support with service and maintenance call-outs 

• Collecting stock from suppliers 

• Assisting with other duties as required

  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting 

  • Punctual and organized 

  • Hardworking and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment 

  • Flexible with working hours to support business needs, including covering staff on annual/sick leave 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience (Highly regarded but not essential): 

• Prior customer service experience 

• Prior delivery driver experience 

• Forklift licence 

• Truck licence

• Any qualifications/experience relating to logistics

You must have:

• Driver's licence

• Current police check (< 2 years old) or willing to get one before starting

• You will required to pass an NDIS worker screening as a condition of your employment, but the cost of this will be reimbursed to you.
