Ozcare is seeking compassionate and reliable casual In Home Support Worker to join our Rockhampton Aged Care at Home team, supporting clients throughout the Capricorn Coast region.As an In Home Support Worker, you will play an important role in helping older Australians remain independent and comfortable in their own homes. Every day brings the opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's life.Your responsibilities will include:Providing quality home support services that promote independence, dignity and wellbeingUndertaking domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparationAssisting with shopping, transport and community accessProviding social support and companionship to clientsMonitoring and reporting changes in client wellbeingMaintaining accurate documentation and recordsWorking collaboratively with the broader care team to ensure positive client outcomesParticipating in training, meetings and continuous improvement initiativesComplying with workplace health and safety requirements, policies and proceduresAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:A caring, patient and respectful approach to supporting older peoplePrevious experience in home support, community care, aged care, disability support or a similar roleStrong interpersonal and communication skillsThe ability to work independently and manage your time effectivelyA positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer serviceFlexibility to work across a varied rosterCandidates with availability to work across 5-7 days of the work will be highly regardedWhat We OfferAt Ozcare, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
