Hostel Allrounder (Eatery and Reception)

Hostel G is a comfortable, affordable, accessible boutique hostel offering alternative accomodation for travelers. 

Owned and operated by our parent company GCPH Australia, our diverse and vibrant business operates 24/7. 

Within this role you will:

• manage check-ins and check-outs

• take reservations

• ensure guest booking requirements and bed allocations are met

• organise arrival and departure arrangements

• Encourage guest feedback and take action to provide the best guest experience possible

• Co-ordinate guest experiences, including behaviour, service level expectations and welfare requirements

• Manage the health, safety, and well-being of guests during shifts

• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks 

• Make coffee and toasties and serve other small eats

• Work a range of rostered shifts, including morning, afternoon and night where you will deliver exceptional guest experiences

Desirable (but not essential) as training will be provided to the right candidate:

• RMS training

• Approved Manager or RSA

• Food handling certification
