Accounts Payable Officer

About the Role
Clarity Partners is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the Perth head office of one of Australia's leading gold producers, operating multiple mines and processing facilities across Western Australia.

This short-term contract is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, providing end-to-end accounts payable support to a busy finance team. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll be responsible for processing high volumes of invoices, managing supplier accounts and ensuring payments are completed accurately and on time. Immediate availability and previous Pronto experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts and invoices
• Prepare and process supplier payment runs
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Respond to supplier and internal stakeholder queries in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate vendor records within Pronto
• Assist with month-end accounts payable activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures

About You

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position, preferably within mining, resources or a large corporate environment
• Hands-on experience using Pronto ERP (essential)
• Immediate availability to commence
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload while meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
