Cartel del Taco and The Carnales Group are growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team — at our New Farm location.

We’re looking for a passionate hospitality leader who know how to run a successful restaurant, lead a strong team and deliver an outstanding guest experience.

About the Role

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, leading the team and ensuring high standards across service, people, operations and guest experience.

You will work closely with the leadership team to drive the performance and continued growth of the venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the restaurant team
• Manage day-to-day restaurant operations
• Lead busy service periods while maintaining excellent service standards
• Ensure a consistently high level of guest experience
• Manage staff performance, training and development
• Prepare and manage staff rosters effectively
• Monitor labour costs and operational performance
• Maintain food, service, health and safety standards
• Assist with stock control and operational procedures
• Handle customer feedback professionally and effectively
• Support the business in achieving sales and profitability targets
• Lead by example with a positive, professional and hands-on approach

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality manager
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience managing a busy, high-volume restaurant environment
• Good understanding of labour costs, rostering and operational performance
• Strong customer service focus
• Ability to remain calm, organised and solutions-focused under pressure
• A hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the floor
• Professional, positive and energetic attitude
• Flexibility to work across a hospitality roster, including evenings and weekends
