Project Director

ConsultANZ is seeking a Project Director for a major civil infrastructure project in Melbourne. This senior leadership role will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all aspects of project delivery, from bid phase to close-out.
• Lead the bid process and manage the transition to delivery.
• Ensure health and safety compliance for the team.
• Manage project finances, ensuring budget adherence.
• Develop detailed project programs for timely delivery.
• Manage subcontractors and supply chains.
• Communicate with stakeholders and clients, providing updates.
• Lead and motivate the project team for optimal performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction specs.
• Expertise in contracts and commercial matters.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
