Royston is a world leading independent diesel engine supplier, maintenance, and repair company operating within the global marine and offshore market for over 40 years. We have operations in the UK, Nigeria and Australia. We are well established in WA with a blue-chip client base, a strong pipeline of work, and a dedicated local team.

We offer a wide variety of different work environments outside marine, in defense, offshore oil and gas, mining and utilities. We are based in Henderson, but travel will be required to carry out work at sea, in port or on land-based remote sites across Australia.

We are looking for the right person with the right skillset, mindset and work ethic with whom we can form a long-term relationship.

About the role

• Maintain and repair diesel engines and auxiliary equipment

• Lead major overhauls if required

• Plan work effectively, including recognition of parts requirements and procurement

• Produce accurate technical reports

About you

• Good with people, both clients and staff

• Supervisory experience preferred but not essential

• Extensive operations and maintenance experience with diesel engines, medium or high-speed vessels would be an advantage

• Competent in troubleshooting, risk assessment and reporting

• Knowledge of QHSE systems and documentation requirements

• A recognized qualification in a relevant mechanical discipline

• Ideally OEM trained but not essential
