About the role
You are to perform diesel engine repairs and maintenance work. This includes diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in diesel engines, performing scheduled servicing and maintenance on diesel vehicles and machinery, conducting safety inspections, and rebuilding or replacing engines, transmissions, fuel systems, brakes, steering, and suspension systems. You will use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and document findings, complete job cards and service reports, and communicate clearly with the team and customers. All work must be carried out safely and in compliance with industry standards, including the disposal of hazardous material and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). You will maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in diesel engines
Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel vehicles and machinery
Conduct safety inspections and identify potential issues before they become major faults
Rebuild, replace, and repair engines, transmissions, fuel systems, brakes, steering, and suspension systems
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and document findings
Complete job cards, service reports, and communicate clearly with the team and customers
Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with industry standards, including the disposal of hazardous material and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
About you
Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Motor Mechanic (minimum Certificate III)
At least 1 year of Automotive experience
Ability to work independently
A current driver licence (HR or MR desirable but not essential)
Excellent time management and communication skills
Committed and motivated
Professional and excellent customer service experience
A mature and positive attitude to the job
Strong attention to detail

We are currently seeking trade qualified and experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics to join our team. We have two vacancies at our workshop based at 1727 Botany Rd, Banksmeadow, NSW 2019.
