Environment Coordinator Melbourne, VIC | 2 Months Contract Duration 16 November 2026 – 4 January 2027
About the RoleQIX Consulting is seeking an experienced Environment Coordinator to manage and coordinate complex Non-Production Development and Test Environments across enterprise projects and release activities.
This role will be responsible for ensuring development, testing and integrated environments are available, stable and appropriately configured to support project delivery. You will work closely with project teams, Release Management, Infrastructure, Solution Architects and technical support teams, while contributing to the transformation of manual environment processes into a more automated, cloud-based and continuously improving ecosystem.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate Non-Production Development, Test and Integrated Environments across assigned projects.Coordinate environment requirements, availability and bookings using Plutora.Manage environments supporting monthly enterprise releases, including environment readiness and scheduling.Coordinate database refreshes, code deployments and environment preparation ahead of regression and integration testing.Provide technical environment expertise and guidance across configuration, testing, implementation and troubleshooting activities.Work closely with project teams to understand environment dependencies, requirements, risks and delivery timelines.Document data flows between Superannuation Administration Systems and Consumer Systems within integrated non-production environments.Coordinate database refresh activities with relevant project, infrastructure and application teams.Help transform manual and high-risk environment processes into streamlined, automated and cloud-based solutions.Manage post-Go-Live Hypercare, including coordinating the retrofitting of Production code into lower environments.Engage with Infrastructure Architects and Integration Solution Architects to assess network, connectivity and integration requirements.Manage environment-related defects through investigation and resolution, escalating where required.Troubleshoot environment incidents and outages relating to applications including ACURITY, Objective, Kofax and Sitecore, coordinating appropriate technical teams through to resolution.Coordinate with Release Management teams on requirements for Out-of-Cycle and Enterprise Releases.Proactively identify environment risks, conflicts and dependencies that may impact project delivery.
Mandatory Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated experience in Environment Management / Environment Coordination within complex enterprise environments.Strong experience managing Development, Test, Integration and Non-Production environments.Experience coordinating environment bookings, release schedules, database refreshes and code deployments.Experience with Plutora or a comparable environment/release management tool.Strong understanding of Release Management, Environment Management and software delivery lifecycles.Experience managing environment incidents, defects and technical issues through to resolution.Ability to coordinate across Infrastructure, Applications, Integration, Testing and Release Management teams.Strong stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills.Technical understanding of servers, databases, integrations, networking and application environments.
Highly DesirableExperience within Superannuation or Financial Services environments.Exposure to ACURITY, Objective, Kofax and/or Sitecore.Experience supporting enterprise release cycles and regression testing.Understanding of Cloud environments, automation and Continuous Improvement (CI).Experience supporting major projects through Go-Live and Hypercare.
About YouYou are a technically capable Environment Coordinator who can confidently work across multiple projects, applications and technical teams. You are comfortable identifying dependencies, troubleshooting environment issues and coordinating technical resources to ensure environments are ready for critical project and testing activities.Experience within a large enterprise, Superannuation or Financial Services environment will be particularly valuable.
