Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

Are you a genuinely hands-on senior digital marketer who can confidently move between strategy, SEO, CRM automation, email marketing, websites, funnels, analytics, content and design?

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to take ownership of the digital marketing ecosystem across three established and emerging purpose-driven brands operating within spiritual development, essential oils, holistic wellness and education.

This is a broad senior role, but it is not a general marketing-coordinator position.

We are looking for someone who has already managed complex digital environments and can demonstrate real, practical experience improving websites, building customer journeys, managing CRM and email systems, strengthening SEO, optimising funnels, analysing performance and producing polished marketing assets.

You will work closely with the Business Owner to transform an established vision, body of content and brand identity into an increasingly structured, measurable and scalable digital marketing ecosystem.

The right person will be both strategic and hands-on: someone who can identify what needs to improve, recommend a solution, and then confidently implement it.

Digital Strategy & Growth

• Develop and implement integrated digital marketing strategies across three connected brands.
• Identify opportunities to improve audience growth, lead generation, customer journeys and conversion.
• Translate business priorities into clear campaigns, systems and measurable marketing activity.
• Establish realistic performance baselines and use data to recommend future growth targets.
• Provide senior-level recommendations to the Business Owner in a clear, practical and commercially relevant way.

CRM, Email Marketing & Automation

• Manage and improve CRM systems, subscriber databases and customer journeys.
• Build and optimise automated workflows, nurture sequences, segmentation and campaign logic.
• Create and distribute email campaigns, newsletters, promotional campaigns and weekly communications.
• Improve database health, sender reputation, email deliverability and subscriber engagement.
• Identify and resolve issues relating to bounced emails, inactive contacts and list quality.
• Experience with GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign or comparable CRM and automation platforms is highly valuable.

Websites, Funnels & Conversion

• Maintain and improve websites across all three brands.
• Build and optimise landing pages, lead-generation funnels and conversion pathways.
• Manage forms, calls to action, tracking and CRM integrations.
• Publish and maintain blogs, campaign pages, course information and digital resources.
• Review user journeys and recommend improvements that support conversion.

SEO

• Take ownership of on-page SEO across websites, blogs and landing pages.
• Conduct keyword, topic and competitor research.
• Optimise page structure, metadata, headings, internal links, images and URLs.
• Monitor organic visibility, website traffic and search performance.
• Balance SEO requirements with authentic, human and brand-sensitive writing.

Content & Brand Voice

• Support the Business Owner with research, editing, proofreading and development of long-form content.
• Occasionally develop first drafts or complete articles when required.
• Learn and accurately reproduce three related but distinct brand voices.
• Preserve the meaning, emotion and personality of story-led and spiritual content rather than replacing it with generic marketing language.
• Apply exceptional proofreading and quality-control standards.
• Ensure written work feels natural, thoughtful and human rather than formulaic or obviously AI-generated.

Graphic Design & Visual Marketing

• Produce polished visual assets for websites, email campaigns, blogs, lead magnets, courses, flyers and launches.
• Maintain an already-established premium brand identity.
• Work confidently in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is strongly preferred.
• Apply strong judgement around typography, layout, spacing, colour and visual consistency.

Analytics & Optimisation

• Establish and maintain practical reporting across websites, email, funnels and campaigns.
• Monitor traffic, engagement, conversion and campaign performance.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Recommend and implement evidence-based improvements.
• Track the commercial impact of digital marketing activity.

Systems & Quality Assurance

• Build and maintain clear SOPs, checklists and repeatable digital marketing processes.
• Maintain organised campaign records, files and platform documentation.
• Identify errors independently before work is submitted for approval or published.
• Produce accurate, polished work that increasingly requires minimal correction.
• Support course-platform administration, including course uploads, student access and participation records where required.
• Complete relevant training relating to essential-oil marketing compliance.

This is a senior position. Applicants should be able to demonstrate most of the following through their actual work experience:

• 7+ years of relevant digital marketing experience.
• Proven responsibility for managing a broad digital marketing function or ecosystem.
• Advanced practical experience with CRM administration and marketing automation.
• Strong hands-on email marketing experience, including segmentation, nurture journeys and campaign optimisation.
• Good understanding of email deliverability, database health and sender reputation.
• Strong practical SEO capability.
• Experience managing and optimising websites.
• Experience building or improving landing pages, funnels and conversion journeys.
• Strong understanding of digital analytics and performance reporting.
• Excellent written English, editing and proofreading ability.
• Strong visual judgement and practical design capability.
• Professional experience using Canva and preferably Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience managing multiple brands, products, services or audience segments.
• The ability to move confidently between strategic thinking and practical execution.

Experience in spiritual development, holistic wellness, essential oils, personal development, education, coaching or another purpose-driven environment would be advantageous, but strong digital capability remains essential.

This Role Is Probably Not the Right Fit If

• Your experience is primarily social media management or content coordination.
• You have managed agencies but have limited hands-on digital execution experience.
• You have used CRM platforms only for basic contact management.
• You have limited experience with SEO, websites, email automation or funnels.
• You prefer specialising in only one area of digital marketing.
• You require extensive direction to identify problems or recommend solutions.
