Front Staff

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and welcoming Front Staff to join the team at R & H Curry House Armidale. This is a casual position based in Armidale NSW 2350, offering flexible hours to suit your schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, managing seating and table arrangements

• Taking accurate food and beverage orders from customers and communicating these clearly to kitchen and bar staff

• Serving food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring orders are correct and presentation is excellent

• Clearing tables efficiently and maintaining a clean and tidy dining environment throughout service

• Answering guest enquiries about menu items, special dietary requirements and restaurant facilities

• Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions with accuracy

• Collaborating effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery

• Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and following food safety protocols

• Responding professionally to any guest concerns or complaints and seeking solutions promptly

• Assisting in the kitchen with dishwashing and general cleaning when required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in hospitality or waiting staff roles, preferably in a restaurant or café environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers

• A professional appearance and commitment to maintaining excellent standards of personal hygiene

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously

• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work, with availability for casual shifts

• Basic numeracy skills for processing payments and managing bills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively as part of a team

Work Hours : Mon to Sunday Lunch : 1130pm to 230pm

Dinner : 5:00pm to 8:00pm
