JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is looking for enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendant to join our fantastic F&B team at the In Room Dining team on a part time basis. 

About the role 

We are searching for a capable In Room Dining Attendant to join our exceptional team at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. The In-Room Dining Attendant is responsible for providing our guests with friendly, efficient and consistent service of food and beverage products in hotel rooms. Growing your career as a part time In Room Dining Attendant is a great opportunity to develop useful skills in a luxury hotel environment. 

Critical responsibilities:  

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.  

• Set tables according to type of event and service standards.  

• Answer questions on menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.  

• Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order.  

• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.  

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.  

• Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.  

• Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment. 

Successful Candidates will have: 

• Clear and professional language 

• Previous experience in food & beverage service, ideally in a hotel environment 

• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays 

• Has a positive, can-do attitude 

• Enjoys working in a fast paced environment 

• Ability to build positive relationships with guests and team members
