Casual Bartender / TAB Attendant – Sports Bar, TAB & Bottleshop (Evening Closes)

We’re looking for an experienced bartender with strong customer service skills to join our Sports Bar team. This role is predominantly evening close shifts across the sports bar, TAB and bottleshop, so reliable night availability is essential.

If you have TAB experience, great. If not, you must be able to demonstrate strong cash handling skills, confident numeracy, and the ability to balance wagering and tills accurately.

About the Role

You will work across our Sports Bar, TAB wagering area and drive-through bottleshop. Shifts are mainly nights, including weekends, and involve close duties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing fast, friendly and professional service
• Bartending in a busy sports bar environment
• Taking TAB wagers and balancing TAB floats/tills
• Accurate cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation
• Serving customers in the drive-through bottleshop
• Maintaining venue presentation and compliance standards
• Working as part of a supportive team during high-energy trade

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Proven bartending experience
• Current Victorian RSA (or willingness to obtain before starting)
• Strong cash handling and numeracy skills
• Confident, calm and accurate under pressure
• Availability for night shifts, including weekends
• Great communication and a customer-first attitude

Highly regarded:

• Previous TAB wagering experience
• Experience in sports bar or high-volume hospitality venues
• Strong closing/shift-supervision habits
