Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift / Warehouse Operator to join our valued client at their state-of-the-art engineering, repair and logistics facility in Kemps Creek.
 
This impressive 30,000+ sqm facility provides technical supply chain, refurbishment and logistics solutions across the telecommunications, mobility and consumer electronics industries.

About the role:
 
You will play an important role in supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, inventory control and safe material handling.
Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving, inspecting and processing inbound equipment and materials
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Loading, unloading, moving and storing materials safely
• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks and RF scanners
• Completing inventory movements, cycle counts and stocktakes
• Performing basic computer and data entry tasks
• Ensuring customer equipment is handled carefully and accurately
• Conducting routine equipment checks and reporting faults
• Following site traffic management and forklift procedures
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Supporting quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for:
To be successful, you will have:

• Current LF Forklift Licence - essential
• Reach Forklift experience preferred, or willingness to undertake reach forklift training and assessment
• Minimum 2 years' experience in warehousing, logistics or distribution
• Experience with receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and inventory control
• RF scanner and/or Warehouse Management System experience is desirable
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily targets
• Reliable, positive and team-focused attitude
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
