Field QA Officer – Asphalt (On-Site)

This is a site-based quality and documentation role, focused on:

• Accurately documenting what work is completed

• Verifying works are installed correctly and compliantly

• Recording materials, quantities, and labour used

• Signing off works delivered by crews and subcontractors

This role is not a foreman role and not a labouring position — it exists to ensure works are properly documented, compliant, and defensible.

• Document all works performed on site daily

• Verify works are installed in accordance with specifications and company standards

• Record all materials used, quantities, and locations

• Track and document hours worked by crews and subcontractors

• Obtain sign-off on completed works (internal and external where required)

• Complete daily QA records, photos, and supporting documentation

• Ensure all QA and site documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time

• Identify and report non-conforming works or discrepancies

• Liaise with supervisors, foremen, and management regarding documentation and compliance

• track each job and communicate with Foreman required quantities

• Monitor trucks delivering and exit site

• Experience in asphalt construction (site exposure essential)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable documenting works in real time on site

• Ability to confidently verify works and request corrections where required

• Good written communication and basic admin skills

• Ability to work independently and consistently

• White Card

• Current C Class Driver’s Licence

• Ability to use mobile devices / tablets for photos and reporting

• Fluent English (written and verbal)
