Call Centre Officer – Modern Medicine (Allied Health)
Gillies Street, Ascot Street & Victoria Street clinics

Modern Medicine is a multi-site allied health provider delivering Podiatry, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Exercise physiology, Myotherapy, and Psychology. We're looking for a Call Centre Officer to be the friendly first point of contact for our patients across all three clinics.

About the role
Based out of our Sebastopol St clinic you'll manage all incoming calls, bookings and enquiries, and handle scheduling and rescheduling of appointments across our full range of allied health services, ensuring every patient has a smooth, positive experience from their very first contact with us.

What you'll do

• Answer incoming calls for all three clinics promptly and professionally
• Manage new patient bookings and enquiries across all modalities
• Schedule and reschedule appointments accurately
• Provide accurate information on services, referrals, fees and locations
• Liaise with practitioners and reception teams across sites
• Maintain accurate patient records and appointment details
• Handle patient queries with empathy and escalate where needed
• Attending to emails and other in house admin duties

• Excellent phone manner and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage a high volume of calls across multiple sites
• A calm, patient and empathetic approach
• Comfortable using clinic management/scheduling software
