About Miller Lane Aesthetics

Miller Lane Aesthetics is a premium precision brow, lash and skin studio on Sydney's Lower North Shore. We are a specialist studio, not a traditional beauty salon: every appointment is one-on-one and fully tailored, built around in-depth client consultation and results-focused treatments.

With a client base of more than 700 and our two Senior Brow & Lash Artists booked out roughly 8-weeks in advance (our client-base is dedicated!!!), demand for skin has outgrown what our current team can hold. Our dedicated skin room is fitted, stocked and waiting — what it needs is its lead.

The role — MLA SKIN Lead

This is a lead role, not a chair in someone else's system. You'll take over a fully fitted skin treatment room, a professional cosmeceutical skincare line imported from the UK, a building skin client base, plus an active waitlist ready for handover.

You'll lead the skin room, the menu and the client experience, and help shape how MLA SKIN evolves — chemical peels are launching next, with microneedling being explored for early next year. You'll be trained in our products and protocols through a structured handover before your column opens to clients.

From there, there's real room to make the role your own — tailor the treatments, refine the protocols and shape the menu as you see fit. You'll have genuine input into the products we carry and where the skin business goes next. It's yours to help build.

Given the leadership level and commitment of this role, please be advised this is not a short-term position. We are looking for someone seeking a genuine long-term role, with a commitment to grow with us.

A long-term role — stated up front

We're offering a career home, not a fill-in chair. You'll start casual while we both confirm the fit, and your set days are locked in from day one:

• Tuesday 11:00am – 7:00pm

• Wednesday 11:00am – 7:00pm

• Thursday 11:00am – 7:00pm (our late-night trading day)

Three set days, every week — no weekends, ever, and no early mornings. If it suits your transition, we're open to beginning on two days and building to three as your column fills. Once you're comfortable, we'd love to discuss a permanent full-time role.

About you

• Advanced Diploma of Skin Therapy, Diploma of Beauty Therapy, or equivalent; with strong skin consultation and skin treatment experience

• Confident delivering professional-grade, results-focused skin treatments (Specifics: chemical peel certification highly regarded; microneedling training is a bonus!)

• Evidence of your work — before and afters, a portfolio or professional references, mandatory with your application

• Available Tuesday to Thursday through to 7:00pm, to start

• Australian citizen or permanent resident (we're unable to offer sponsorship)
