About the role

As Medical Engagement Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of medical experts across multiple specialties and jurisdictions. You'll use performance data, technology and strong relationships to understand how each expert is performing, where they're underutilised, where demand exists and what MEDirect can do to help grow their practice. You'll work closely with Marketing, Growth and Partnerships, Onboarding, Operations and Technology teams to turn expert capability and availability into bookings. You'll become a trusted partner to the experts you manage — someone who understands their goals and actively advocates for their success within MEDirect.

Key responsibilities

• Own the relationship, performance and growth of your expert portfolio, combining proactive relationship management with data-driven decision making

• Build strong, trusted relationships with medical specialists and their practice managers

• Monitor utilisation, revenue, availability, turnaround times and booking trends to identify risks and growth opportunities

• Develop strategies to increase expert utilisation, referral volume and medicolegal revenue

• Identify opportunities to expand experts into new schemes, sectors, locations and referral markets

• Work with Marketing and Growth and Partnerships to turn expert capability and availability into bookings

• Manage expert availability strategically and address gaps before they impact performance

• Support newly recruited experts to build strong booking momentum during their first 90 days

• Act as the voice of your experts internally, sharing opportunities, feedback and market intelligence across the business

• Use MEDirect's strategy dashboard, CRM, reporting tools, technology and AI tools to make portfolio management smarter and more effective
