Testing and Commissioning Technician - Kalgoorlie

These are residential roles NOT FIFO. Only candidates willing to relocate to the Kalgoorlie region will be considered. A generous relocation package will be offered to suitable candidates including temporary accommodation in a modern and fully furnished unit (conditions apply).

The position:

Based in Kalgoorlie, you will be required to carry out testing and commissioning on a variety of electrical equipment including but not limited to transformers, switchgear, substations and protection devices. 

Experience in the use of test equipment including Omicron / Baur / Flir devices is desirable but not essential.

Experience in mining and maintenance is desirable but not essential.

To be suitable for this position you require the following:

• A current WA Electrical Workers Licence - essential

• Current Drivers Licence - essential

• Current Police Clearance - essential - within 3 months

• LV Rescue & CPR certificate - essential

• HV switching ticket is desirable

• Working at heights and elevated work platform is desirable

• Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills

• Full working rights in Australia 

You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
