Senior Project Manager - Construction

This is a senior-level opportunity for a construction professional who has proven experience managing complex projects from planning through to completion, with responsibility for project delivery, commercial outcomes, stakeholders, safety and quality.

Please note: Australian Citizenship is mandatory. The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance and must be available to work onsite 5 days per week.

As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of major construction projects
• Manage project scope, budgets, programs, resources and delivery outcomes
• Lead project teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
• Manage project schedules, milestones and deliverables
• Oversee commercial performance, variations, claims and contractual matters
• Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues
• Ensure projects comply with relevant legislation, standards and safety requirements
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Monitor project performance, quality, costs and progress
• Provide regular project reporting to senior management
• Drive a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement

We are looking for a highly experienced construction professional with:

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager within the construction industry
• Proven experience managing complex, large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts and project delivery
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and project teams
• Strong commercial and financial management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong understanding of WHS, quality and risk management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects to agreed deadlines
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline

• $200,000 - $290,000 + super + bonus
