Trade Waiter

Located in Paddington, Sydney NSW, Barbetta Pty Limited, trading as Barbetta, is an established Italian restaurant specialising in authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Trade Waiter to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional table service, taking food and beverage orders while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests.
• Recommend menu items, daily specials and beverages while responding to customer enquiries in a knowledgeable and friendly manner.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with venue standards.
• Set up and clear tables, maintaining cleanliness and presentation throughout the dining area.
• Process customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Liaise effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve service-related issues professionally.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Trade Waiter or in a similar hospitality role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Well-presented, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality customer service.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time

Salary: AUD $75,000 – $95,000 per annum
