Hancock Energy has a full-time opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a team supporting onshore oil and gas projects throughout Western Australia.This opportunity is within the Finance team reports into the Finance Lead.
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team, based in our West Perth office. This is an Office based role.
This position is responsible for the full suite of accounts payable functions, from the matching and processing of invoices to creditor payment runs and expense claim/credit card expense management.
Key Duties:End-to-end accounts payable processing including managing accounts payable inbox and ensuring timely payment to vendorsPreparation and processing of vendor payment runs through to management of bank paymentsMonthly reconciliation of supplier accounts with daily interface with suppliersPreparation of debtor invoices and payment follow up where requiredExpense claim and credit card expense processing in compliance with policyBank reconciliations across multiple bank accountsAssisting the Finance team as required and assist with general finance duties as required, including cash flow forecastMaintain accurate documentation and recordsSupport financial governance and compliance
To be successful in this role the following is essential:Experience in similar role within mid-size entitiesPrevious ERP experienceComputer literacy and strong knowledge of MS Word & ExcelStrong communication skills along with the ability to work autonomouslyAbility to work to strict timeframes and deadlinesTo be eligible to apply for this role you must be legally permitted to work permanently in Australia.
